In the frames of LIONHARE the lionfish´s behaviour of aggregation is studied, in order to develop efficient catching tools. In this video you can see the procedure of blood sampling: The specimen is transferred in an anestesia pool, then its length and weight are measured before the blood sampling. Finally the fish is transferred in the tank, where it is kept. The aim of this procedure is the study of biochemical parameters.
